The FRC-20SA is an ultra-lightweight centre lock floating brake rotor developed for racing, where both weight and performance are critical. Weighing just 80g in the 140mm size, it is among the lightest centre lock floating rotors available. Its true 2-piece floating construction creates a gap between the stainless steel braking band and the carrier to reduce heat transfer and allow natural expansion under heavy braking, minimising distortion, noise, and pad rub. Precision CNC-machined from aerospace-grade AL7075 aluminium, the carrier combines exceptional strength with minimal weight, while the braking band is designed for reliable braking and efficient heat dissipation, delivering stable and consistent performance even in demanding race conditions.
